Instructions for oral presenters
The duration of each presentation will be posted in the programme that will be published in early February.
1) Key points for presenters – PC users
- Please use the Microsoft PowerPoint, 2016* (*pptx), or Adobe Acrobat Reader (.pdf) to ensure they will open successfully on an on-site PC.
- Please note that use of individual PC laptops is not permitted.
- Only video codecs and fonts as detailed below will be supported.
2) Key points for presenters – Mac users
- Please note that presentations from Mac computers are possible only with prior arrangement with technical room staff and appropriate adapter to HDMI.
3) Preparing your presentation
- PowerPoint: Please ensure that your are using provided ESPRM PPT template that can be downloaded here.
- In accordance with the guidelines outlined in the EACMME rules, it is required to include a disclosure slide in the presentation.
- Movies/videos: Please take steps to compress your videos. We can only accept movies created as MPGs, WMVs, or with the following AVI codecs: H.264, MPEG-4 (Divx, Xvid, or WMVs), Indeo, Cinepack, Techsmith.
4) At the conference:
- Slide submission: Presenters should submit their presentation to the Speaker's centre no later than 2 hours prior to their scheduled presentation or one session in advance.
- At the session: Please arrive at your respective meeting room at least 10 minutes before the start of your session. Take time to familiarize yourself with the setup at the lectern, meet your chairperson, and address any issues with the technician.
- Presentation times:
- Keynote presentation: 20 minute lecture and 5 minutes for discussion.
- Oral presentation: 10 minute lecture and 3 minutes for discussion.
Instructions for poster presenters
POSTER SIZE and TEMPLATE
- The presenting authors are requested to personally bring their posters to the conference rather than mailing them ahead. The required dimensions are 90 cm (width) by 140-180 cm (height) - size chart.
- At the top of the poster, please provide the title of the paper, names of the authors and their affiliations, all in bold lettering of about 3 to 4 cm in size. Please note that artwork and lettering should be large and clear enough to ensure that the poster is legible from a distance of 1.5 m.
- We ask you to prepare the poster using the prepared footer of ESPRM congress.
POSTER NUMBERS
- Poster numbers will be provided by the conference and available on your poster board.
- Scotch tape will be available to facilitate attaching posters to the boards.
POSTER SESSION
- Poster Sessions are allocated in the programme.
- Poster Session is 1,5 minute of presentation that is done on 1 slide.
- Slide submission: Presenters should submit their slide to the Speaker's centre a day prior to their scheduled presentation.
- The slide should be 16:9 format either JPEG or PPTX format.
POSTER AREA PRESENTATION
- Authors are required to be present next to their poster boards during lunch time on the day that their poster is displayed.
- On the day of the poster session you are also displaying the poster in poster area 13:00-14:00.
Wednesday Poster Sessions - A, B, C
- Mounting time: Tuesday after 17:00
- Presentation time for oral presentation in the programme. Poster board area presentation during lunch time 13.00-14.00.
- Dismounting time: 18:00
Thursday Poster Sessions - D, E, F
- Mounting time: Thursday 8:00-8:30
- Presentation time for oral presentation in the programme. Poster board area presentation during lunch time 13.00-14.00.
- Dismounting time: 17:00-18:30
Friday Poster Sessions - G, H
- Mounting time: Friday 8:00-8:30
- Presentation time for oral presentation in the programme. Poster board area presentation during lunch time 13.00-14.00.
- Dismounting time: 17:00-18:30
